Job Description:
- We are seeking an Applied Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to derive meaningful insights and developing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models aimed at predicting and enhancing the energy performance of buildings. You will employ advanced statistical techniques to validate model accuracy and improve predictive capabilities. Your work will involve conducting rigorous statistical analyses to support model development and research findings, as well as interpreting and communicating statistical results to non-technical stakeholders. Staying updated with the latest statistical methods and tools is essential. You will also utilize building energy simulation software to create and test energy models, integrating simulation results with machine learning models to enhance prediction accuracy. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, as you will apply simulation insights to real building projects and contribute to research outcomes focused on energy efficiency, sustainability, and smart building technologies. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed proposals, technical reports, and presentations for partners and funding bodies.
