Associate Data Scientist
Job Description:
- As an Associate Data Scientist, you will be a vital member of the Applied Research team within our Research and Development department. Your primary focus will be on utilizing advanced techniques in signal and image processing, alongside machine learning and statistical analysis, to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge medical devices integrated within the Alpha Informatix ecosystem. This role demands an innovative approach as you work to enhance the algorithms and automation processes that underpin EOS Insight, a comprehensive spine surgery platform, as well as SafeOp Neural InformatiX, an advanced system for intraoperative neuromonitoring. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including marketing and development, to promote the use of data science and automation across our ecosystem. Your analytical skills will be crucial in extracting actionable insights from large, complex clinical and medical imaging datasets to inform algorithm development and guide experimental design. Additionally, you will design and execute experiments, conduct A/B testing, and develop visual dashboards to effectively communicate your findings and continuously monitor performance metrics.

In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that support the development and validation of algorithms and analytical tools.:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the integration of algorithms and data science techniques;; Develop, document, and validate machine learning models and software analysis tools;; Analyze large datasets using signal processing and machine learning to derive insights;; Design experiments, conduct A/B testing, and evaluate algorithm performance;; Create methods for data extraction, synthesis, and visualization to facilitate algorithm prototyping;; Communicate scientific findings and project progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
