Job Description:
- We are seeking a full-time Data Scientist to join our IT & Digital division at our Frankfurt location. This role is crucial in developing and managing metrics and algorithms that aid decision-making and automate processes for experts in German professional and youth football. You will work closely with national coaches and experts to design and create data products, such as dashboards and reports, that will be utilized in the day-to-day operations of our professionals and clubs. If you are passionate about shaping modern IT structures and making a significant contribution to the advancement of German football, this opportunity is for you. You will have the chance to work at the forefront of sports technology, enhancing performance and supporting our national teams on their path to future championships.

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for various tasks that support the development and optimization of football performance metrics.:
- Create, implement, and automate data analyses and models using football-related data for specialized experts, including coaches and performance analysts;; Develop new machine learning algorithms and models to optimize performance in German professional and youth football;; Design and develop metrics to monitor performance structures in elite and youth football;; Build applications such as reports and dashboards for national teams and other experts in areas such as game operations and talent development;; Collaborate closely with experts to gather individual requirements and maintain continuous communication

- Experience with cloud databases and established Data Science frameworks, especially AWS and Apache Spark
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is desirable
