Job Description:
- We are looking for a (Junior) Data Scientist who will effectively drive the topic of data and artificial intelligence at Lidl Germany. In this role, you will support various departments through the application of analytical methods, enhancing operational processes and enabling better strategic decision-making. Your business acumen, combined with your data science expertise, will be crucial in advancing the data and AI initiatives at Lidl. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to identify key questions where data science can deliver real financial benefits, and you will be part of Lidl's global data and AI community. You will apply a wide range of statistical and mathematical methods, as well as machine learning techniques, to evaluate actions, make forecasts, and assist in optimizing business processes. You will utilize our extensive and modern cloud-based big data platform, ensuring relevant data sources are cleaned and linked for further analysis. In agile, interdisciplinary teams, you will work on projects and regularly present your findings to stakeholders and management.
