Job Description:

    The role of an IT Application Specialist involves providing comprehensive IT support, operation, and administration of various applications specifically within the administrative sector. The specialist will be responsible for planning and executing configuration changes, performing maintenance tasks, and managing updates. Additionally, the role includes ensuring IT security and data backup measures are adhered to, as well as establishing and overseeing user and authorization concepts. This position requires close collaboration with relevant departments and key users to aid in the introduction and continual enhancement of applications. The specialist will act as a primary contact for new requirements and innovations, ensuring that implementation aligns with application and process-specific parameters. Furthermore, the role includes participation in various projects as a project manager, necessitating effective communication and coordination between IT, specialist departments, and external service providers. The specialist will also be tasked with preparing, participating in, and following up on project meetings and workshops.
