As the Legal Director of Employment and Product Compliance, you will be instrumental in guiding the organization through various legal landscapes, ensuring compliance while balancing business objectives.:
- Provide strategic legal counsel on diverse issues, aligning business objectives with legal compliance requirements and risks.;; Advise teams and executives on domestic and international employment law matters, covering recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and more.;; Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, particularly concerning data retention and legal holds.;; Identify emerging employee relations challenges and propose proactive risk mitigation strategies.;; Draft and revise legal documents, including employment handbooks, offer letters, and consulting agreements across an international framework.;; Oversee employment litigation management, including handling demand letters and supervising discovery processes.;; Guide leadership on legal aspects of product offerings and develop compliance programs across various jurisdictions.;; Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity and privacy compliance frameworks.;; Monitor global regulatory developments and their implications for Harness product offerings.;; Create resources and tools to scale the legal function effectively.;; Conduct training sessions to promote understanding of employment and product compliance issues.
