Vice President, Corporate Development – Southeast Market
Job Description:
- We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Development responsible for spearheading and executing strategic transactions within the ambulatory surgery center sector across the Southeastern United States, specifically North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. This role is pivotal in establishing and nurturing relationships with physician practices and health systems to facilitate growth and collaboration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, innovation, and self-reliance, possessing a keen understanding of the pace and momentum required in deal-making. Experience in managing both small and large mergers and acquisitions is essential, particularly with a focus on joint venture partnerships. A deep comprehension of healthcare industry regulations is necessary, alongside a solid understanding of contractual agreements and the ability to work closely with legal counsel to drive opportunities to completion. As the Vice President, you will lead the due diligence process, negotiate terms for new ventures, and develop a robust pipeline for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and strategies.

The Vice President will lead a variety of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the company's market position and driving growth through effective partnership and acquisition strategies.:
- Oversee and execute key strategic transactions in the ambulatory surgery center space;; Develop and maintain a robust M&A pipeline management process;; Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential and existing health system and physician partners;; Collaborate with business leaders to ensure M&A deals align with strategic objectives;; Evaluate business conditions and inform the executive team on relevant matters;; Direct activities to achieve or exceed budgeted results and financial criteria;; Ensure post-acquisition synergies and performance targets are met
