Job Description:
- Join a dynamic team as a Junior Manual Software Tester where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software systems and applications. In this position, you will be engaged in various testing activities that span across different phases of software development. You will develop test procedures for a wide range of backlog items, including system, functional, regression, performance, and stress testing. Your expertise will be essential in implementing quality assurance methodologies that align with industry standards and best practices, particularly within a large, computer-based organization. As part of an Agile Scrum team, you will create and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts, identifying issues and documenting defect backlogs while collaborating closely with developers and product managers to ensure the software meets all specified requirements. Furthermore, you will actively participate in sprint planning, testing cycles, and retrospectives, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that support national security and enhance safety for the American public.

As a Junior Manual Software Tester, you will be tasked with various responsibilities aimed at ensuring software quality and compliance with established standards.:
- Developing and executing test procedures and plans for various types of testing;; Implementing quality assurance methodologies and maintaining compliance with standards;; Recording and reporting testing results, documenting defects, and tracking resolution of issues;; Mapping tasks and tests to backlog items to ensure traceability;; Supporting User Acceptance Testing by collaborating with stakeholders;; Participating in Agile Scrum activities, including sprint planning and retrospectives;; Contributing to team collaboration and supporting teammates in achieving project goals
