Senior QA Automation/Manual Engineer

Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation/Manual Engineer to enhance our software quality assurance capabilities within our IT Business Systems Delivery team. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with development teams to develop and implement test strategies, ensuring our software releases meet the highest quality standards. In this position, you will have the opportunity to design both automated and manual testing processes while also playing a critical role in maintaining our Continuous Integration (CI) systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the software quality process within Agile and waterfall methodologies, and will be instrumental in executing test plans, managing user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshooting any system issues that arise.

The responsibilities of this role encompass a wide range of tasks focused on ensuring software quality through both manual and automated testing techniques.:

    Lead the software quality assurance lifecycle in both Agile and waterfall environments.;; Develop and coordinate comprehensive test strategies in partnership with development and product teams.;; Design, implement, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for various applications.;; Create and run automated and manual UI and functional tests to validate software functionality.;; Enhance and maintain automated CI processes to ensure timely delivery of quality software.;; Review and validate results from user acceptance testing to ensure compliance with business requirements.;; Troubleshoot and investigate issues arising in the systems under test, providing effective resolutions.
