Software Quality Engineer

Job Description:

    We are seeking a dedicated Software Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the excellence of our innovative Pearson/Navvy platforms. Your responsibilities will include implementing robust automation solutions and conducting thorough manual testing to maintain the highest quality standards. You will also track and manage issues reported on our products, actively participating in meetings focused on requirements, architecture, and design. Effective communication within a collaborative software development team is essential, as you will work closely with developers, product managers, and other quality assurance professionals. You will apply Agile methodologies to ensure the successful and sustainable delivery of software solutions while maintaining an open line of communication with key stakeholders to manage expectations regarding system changes and business requests.

As a Software Quality Engineer, you will undertake a variety of key responsibilities to ensure software quality.:

    Participate actively in requirements, architecture, and design review meetings;; Collaborate effectively with developers, quality assurance, and product management teams;; Conduct comprehensive development testing tasks with a focus on quality;; Prepare, review, and maintain thorough documentation and procedures;; Implement and maintain automation workflows using tools such as Selenium and Cucumber;; Write detailed test plans that ensure quality across all levels and help reduce project costs
