Software Test Engineer Aerospace and Defence

Job Description:

    We are seeking a dedicated Software Test Engineer to join our team, focusing on high-quality software testing within safety-critical embedded systems, specifically in the Aerospace and Defence sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing requirements to establish a solid foundation for subsequent testing activities. Your key responsibilities will include creating detailed test specifications, developing test cases, and preparing comprehensive test protocols. You will also be involved in crafting test procedures and executing tests spanning from module level to system level, including tests in a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environment. Thorough documentation, verification, and review of results throughout the development process will be crucial. This position is based in Ulm, with a requirement to work on-site four days a week.

As a Software Test Engineer, you will engage in a variety of critical tasks that ensure the integrity and performance of software systems in high-stakes environments.:

    Conduct thorough testing of software within embedded systems;; Analyze and assess software requirements for testability;; Draft and maintain comprehensive test cases and procedures;; Execute tests at various levels, including module and system levels;; Perform testing in Hardware-in-the-Loop environments;; Document and verify test results and process adherence
