Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a talented Backend Software Engineer who is enthusiastic about developing scalable backend systems tailored for headless eCommerce platforms. This role is pivotal in our agile development team, where you will collaborate closely with product managers, lead engineers, and frontend developers to create, design, and uphold robust backend solutions that drive our eCommerce applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Node.js and TypeScript, complemented by a keen understanding of JavaScript principles. You will also be expected to stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in backend development. Your contributions will include designing APIs for efficient data communication, optimizing databases for both SQL and NoSQL storage, and utilizing Azure Cloud services to boost the scalability and performance of our backend systems.

As a Backend Software Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass the design, development, and maintenance of high-performing backend systems that are integral to our eCommerce operations.:

Collaborate with team members to design and implement APIs that ensure seamless data flow between frontend and backend systems.;; Contribute to database architecture and data modeling to optimize data storage and retrieval.;; Utilize Azure Cloud services to enhance system performance and scalability.;; Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance and bugs.;; Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to uphold code quality.;; Document code thoroughly and manage version control effectively.

• Proficiency in database management (SQL and NoSQL)
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud services in backend development
• Knowledge of headless eCommerce architecture and best practices
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai
• Understanding of containerization technologies like Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub actions
