Job Description:

We are in search of a skilled SAP Basis Developer who will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of SAP applications including SAP NetWeaver and S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will carry out system upgrades, apply patches, and ensure the seamless operation of various SAP components such as ECC, BW, and SCM. This role involves managing the SAP landscape, focusing on application and database servers while overseeing transport management. You will analyze and optimize system performance to guarantee scalability and availability, actively monitoring system logs and alerts to preemptively address any performance issues. Implementing and upholding SAP security policies, user roles, and authorizations will be crucial, along with managing transport requests and integration security. You will set up and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring regular testing of recovery processes. Providing second and third level support for technical SAP issues will be part of your responsibilities, alongside collaborating with support and development teams to resolve complex challenges. Additionally, overseeing SAP system refreshes, migrations, and copies is essential, as is managing the SAP Transport Management System to facilitate smooth transitions between various landscapes. Documentation of technical procedures, health reports, and performance metrics will also be key tasks in this role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in SAP Basis administration and support.
• Hands-on experience with SAP installation, upgrades, and migrations.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAP Cloud solutions is an asset.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and SAP Basis components.
• Strong expertise in managing SAP databases such as Oracle, HANA, and SQL Server.
• Experience with SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and Landscape Management (LMDB).
• Understanding of operating systems such as Linux, Unix, and Windows in an SAP environment.
• SAP certifications in Basis or related areas are advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
