As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks::

Implement and maintain a central Symfony application that provides services and infrastructure for product teams, Assist in the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and monitoring using CDK or Terraform and Datadog, Conceive and implement solutions for our high-performance platform that serves millions of unique users daily, Collaborate with other development teams to ensure seamless operation of the central Symfony application and related products, Continuously develop the Symfony application on a globally accessible cloud infrastructure, modernizing it for cloud computing, Oversee software design, programming, code reviews, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of the Symfony application

Qualifications:

• Completed training in IT or a degree in computer science or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in PHP development
• Strong expertise in Symfony framework and its ecosystem

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation such as AWS with CDK is a plus
• Desirable: Experience with frontend technologies like React and TypeScript
• Proficient in English; knowledge of German is an advantage
• Experience in building and maintaining centralized application infrastructures
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design
• Strong understanding of PHP best practices
