You will contribute during the early development phase to prepare flow architectures for vacuum systems and components considering performance, timing, and costs.:
- You will develop and validate models and methods for flow simulations., Your work will be in close coordination with interdisciplinary teams consisting of internal and external developers, service providers, and suppliers., An important part of your daily work will be requirements engineering, stakeholder management, and the preparation of development documents., As part of industrialization, you will ensure design verification, manufacturing, and integration capability as well as risk management., You will represent your allocated topics to projects and customers., The activity is embedded in a development network consisting of customers, external partners from the high-tech industry, and research institutions.

Qualifications:
- A very good university degree in aerospace engineering

- In-depth knowledge of vacuum system design and molecular flow modeling.
- Experience in the simulation of rarified gas and plasma flows.
- Several years of experience in programming and application of relevant software.
- An independent and systematic work ethic with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Pleasure in working as part of an interdisciplinary team in a dynamic environment.
- Very good organization
- communication and presentation skills for tasks and work results.
- Very good command of written and spoken English and German.
