As a System Manager, you will play a critical role in our sustainability initiatives. You will be responsible for reviewing project documents related to greenhouse gas mitigation in various sectors, operating the registry, facilitating certifications, and providing technical guidance.:

Review and evaluate project documents for greenhouse gas mitigation activities, Operate the registry and maintain project documentation, Facilitate certifications by providing technical guidance to project developers and auditors, Develop and conduct training for validation and verification bodies, Update system documents, templates, and certification methodologies, Monitor developments in the voluntary carbon market and relevant regulatory frameworks, Lead the recognition process under regulatory frameworks, Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, Support public outreach through online content and presentations at events

Qualifications:

• Degree in economics

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
• At least 1 year of proven professional experience in carbon crediting
• preferably 2+ years
• Strong knowledge of carbon crediting frameworks
• Experience in GHG accounting
• forestry
• agriculture
• or bioenergy is advantageous
• Established professional network in carbon markets
• Proficient in English; knowledge of German and other languages is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in international environments
• Strong research and writing abilities
