Job Description:
- As an Interaction Designer for Google Maps, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing user experiences for one of the world's most widely used applications. Your mission will be to transform complex interactions into seamless and intuitive designs that resonate with users globally. You will engage in the entire design process—from conceptualizing user flows and wireframes to crafting high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes. By leveraging user-centered design methods, you will ensure that every feature meets the needs and expectations of our diverse user base. Collaboration will be key; you will work alongside product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to gather insights and create solutions that not only fulfill business requirements but also enhance user satisfaction. You will advocate for design-centered changes, refining experiences based on user feedback and data while always prioritizing usability and accessibility.
