Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Software Usability Engineer / User Interface Designer to join our dynamic development team located in Lingen or Osnabrück, Germany. In this pivotal role, you will focus on enhancing the usability of our Asset Integrity Software Platform, NIMA, which plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of industrial assets. Your primary responsibility will be to gather and validate user feedback and requirements, translating complex business processes into intuitive user experiences. You will have the opportunity to design and create low and high fidelity wireframes, sketches, mockups, and prototypes that will guide the development of our software interface. Collaborating closely with requirement specialists and software engineers, you will ensure that the user-centered experiences align with our design system. Continuous evaluation of the software will be essential, as you will identify areas for improvement and contribute your innovative ideas to enhance the user experience. In this role, you will work within an intercultural, agile, self-organized, and cross-functional scrum team, providing you the chance to grow your skills and share your knowledge with your colleagues.

As a Software Usability Engineer / User Interface Designer, your responsibilities will include gathering user feedback, designing wireframes and prototypes, collaborating with team members, and continuously evaluating the software for improvements.:

Collect and validate user feedback and requirements., Transform complex business processes into user-friendly products., Design low and high fidelity wireframes, sketches, and prototypes., Collaborate with requirement specialists and software engineers to create user-centered experiences., Support the development team during the implementation phase with a keen eye for detail., Evaluate the software continuously for potential enhancements., Work within an agile scrum team and collaborate with UX colleagues across different projects., Share knowledge and learn from team members to foster a collaborative environment.
