We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Platform team. This is a unique opportunity to tackle relatable user challenges and contribute to creating an exceptional product experience for travelers globally, as they search, compare, and book their ideal journeys. As a key member of our team, you will engage in complex projects related to our Core Platform, focusing on areas such as Authentication and Live Journey updates to enhance the overall user experience.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing scalable solutions that leverage modern technologies. Your role will involve supporting and building essential components utilized across all of Omio's platforms, including mobile and web applications.:

Design and implement robust, scalable backend solutions using TypeScript and Node.js.;; Collaborate with your team to rapidly prototype ideas and iterate based on user feedback.;; Evaluate new programming languages, libraries, and frameworks to foster continuous innovation within the team.;; Automate processes to enhance efficiency and guide the team through key decision-making processes.;; Contribute to building a modular architecture that supports the growth of applications and systems.
