Job Description:

Join our dynamic Payments Methods team, where we focus on developing and enhancing Stripe's payment solutions. As a Backend / API Engineer, you will contribute to a platform that processes billions in payments each year, helping businesses accept various local payment methods such as Buy Now Pay Later, wallets, bank debits, and bank transfers. Your role will involve designing, building, and maintaining APIs and services that bridge the gap between innovative payment methods and user needs. You will collaborate with partners to launch new markets and payment capabilities, ensuring our solutions are both effective and user-friendly. Your technical prowess will be essential as you scope and lead large-scale projects that align with Stripe's strategic goals while fostering a culture of mentorship and growth within the engineering team.
