Job Description:

As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the aerospace industry by conducting software product acceptance testing. Your responsibilities will include developing and documenting test plans and specifications based on requirements, executing software product acceptance tests, and documenting the results. You will continuously improve products by optimizing testing processes, creating error descriptions, performing regression tests, and assisting development teams with error analysis. Your analytical skills will be vital in evaluating test results to ensure high-quality software. Additionally, you will support the development and implementation of automated testing and deployment concepts, enhancing efficiency and reliability.

You will be responsible for a variety of testing activities aimed at ensuring the quality and performance of software products within the aerospace sector.:

Develop and document comprehensive test plans and specifications;; Conduct software product acceptance tests and document findings;; Continuously improve testing processes for better product quality;; Create detailed error descriptions and perform regression tests;; Assist development teams in analyzing and resolving software errors;; Analyze and assess test results to ensure compliance with quality standards;; Support the establishment of automated testing and deployment strategies

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Linux systems, Docker, and virtual machines
• Experience in systematic test case creation
• ISTQB certification is a plus
• Experience in test automation using Bamboo and version control tools like GIT or Bitbucket
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as SAFe and SCRUM or willingness to learn
