Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Software Tester to join our dynamic team in The Hague. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining the testing strategies that will guide our IT projects toward success. You will create and maintain comprehensive test plans, ensuring that our quality assurance processes are robust and effective. A key part of your role will involve developing test automation strategies when applicable, enabling us to streamline our testing processes. You will closely collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Technical Coordinators to manage the testing lifecycle of various IT projects. Your proactive approach will be essential in monitoring project statuses, identifying issues, and implementing necessary actions to ensure quality standards are met. You will execute and document test cases, report on testing progress, and assess the quality of IT project deliverables and related documentation. Additionally, you may be called upon to train stakeholders and users on custom-developed and commercial off-the-shelf software applications, ensuring clarity and user-friendliness in all systems under your responsibility.

As a Software Tester, you will undertake the following responsibilities::

Define and implement test strategies for IT projects;; Create and maintain detailed test plans;; Develop and execute test automation strategies as necessary;; Collaborate with Project Managers to address quality issues;; Oversee the testing processes of IT projects;; Monitor project statuses and report on testing progress;; Conduct System and Acceptance testing with various stakeholders;; Review project deliverables for quality assurance;; Train users on software applications when required
