Job Description:

The Fraunhofer Institute for Graphical Data Processing is a pioneer in visual computing and has been setting standards for over three decades. We integrate computer graphics and computer vision, forming the basis of all our technological solutions. With approximately 210 colleagues across three locations, we support the German economy in its strategic development and provide concrete technological solutions. We are currently seeking students to join our Machine Learning Time Series (MLZ) team as research assistants. In this role, you will assist the MLZ team in analyzing and processing time series data from various company sources. Your contributions will play a crucial role in developing and refining predictive models, enhancing forecasting capabilities and decision-making processes. Working with real data will provide you with invaluable practical experience in applying machine learning techniques to address complex business challenges.

In this role, you will be involved in various tasks related to machine learning and data analysis.:

Assisting in the application of machine learning algorithms for analyzing and predicting time series data;; Supporting the development and optimization of predictive models using Python;; Preprocessing large datasets for machine learning applications;; Participating in team activities such as code reviews and version control using GitLab;; Engaging in agile project meetings and team discussions
