Head of Event Marketing

Job Description:

    In this pivotal strategic role, you will report directly to the Managing Director and collaborate closely with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement an ambitious event marketing strategy. Your primary focus will be to enhance the visibility and commercial success of our events while integrating these initiatives with the broader organizational goals to optimize outcomes. The Head of Event Marketing will oversee the entire delegate revenue cycle, ensuring both quantity and quality of attendees. You will lead a dynamic team that comprises three Event Marketing Managers and three Delegate Sales Executives, guiding them towards marketing excellence. Your responsibilities will include crafting high-impact marketing campaigns, utilizing data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities, and establishing strong partnerships across various departments including production, sales, and central marketing. You will be tasked with managing the marketing budget, ensuring financial discipline, and fostering a collaborative culture that encourages innovation and creativity. As you spearhead customer insight activities, you will be expected to implement robust data strategies that enhance the customer journey and elevate our brand presence in the marketplace. The role requires a proactive approach in adjusting strategies based on market trends and competitor activities, ensuring that our event marketing remains relevant and effective in driving commercial growth.

The Head of Event Marketing will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at driving event success and revenue.:

    Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for events;; Build and nurture a high-performing event marketing team;; Oversee the financial management of the marketing budget for events;; Collaborate with IT to leverage event technology for enhancing customer experiences;; Establish service level agreements with key departments and external agencies;; Create targeted pricing strategies based on in-depth market analysis;; Manage customer success initiatives for seamless attendee experiences;; Conduct ongoing market research to stay ahead of trends and competitor activities;; Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using predetermined KPIs
