Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Remote Azure DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Software Engineering team. In this role, you will be the primary engineer responsible for all DevOps initiatives, working closely with both development and platform teams. Your main focus will be on enhancing our release processes and implementing best practices to facilitate smoother deployments. You will be required to work overnight shifts for releases 2-3 times per week, but efforts are underway to minimize these requirements in the future. The ideal candidate will bring a strong coding background and a genuine passion for DevOps practices. You will utilize your expertise in Kubernetes, Azure DevOps Pipelines, YAML, and Terraform to streamline our operations. This position also requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as you will coordinate efforts between multiple teams to ensure successful project execution.

As a Remote Azure DevOps Engineer, you will oversee and enhance our DevOps processes, ensuring efficient release management and deployment.:

Manage and optimize Azure DevOps Pipelines using YAML;; Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform;; Utilize Kubernetes and RedHat Open Shift for container orchestration;; Collaborate with development teams to refine release procedures;; Write scripts for automation in PowerShell, Python, or Bash;; Support agile release deployments and work within a SAFe environment;; Facilitate communication between software engineering and platform teams
