Job Description:
- As a member of the Data Science team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the transition of Lidl into a data-driven and AI-enabled organization. Collaborating closely with various business departments, you will be at the forefront of advancing innovative AI applications that drive business value. Your responsibilities will include working alongside colleagues both locally and globally, providing guidance and support to build decentralized data and analytics capabilities, while enhancing international synergies. You will tackle real-world problem statements where data science can deliver tangible financial benefits. Your work will involve cleaning and integrating relevant data sources to lay the groundwork for further analysis. You will utilize cutting-edge algorithms during the proof-of-concept phase to optimize various business processes. Once a project demonstrates technical viability, you will collaborate with stakeholders to validate the financial impact of your models in practical applications. You will also assist in transitioning projects into operational phases, often liaising with IT colleagues. Throughout all project stages, you will engage in interdisciplinary and agile teams, regularly presenting new findings to stakeholders and management.
