Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to lead a pivotal public health research initiative that utilizes an artificial intelligence-driven methodology for community contact tracing and exposure notification. This innovative project is designed specifically to bolster disease control measures within medical facilities. You will be leveraging existing electronic health record data and advanced cloud computing resources to automate and improve the tracking of patient-provider interactions while predicting potential pathogen spread within healthcare environments. Your expertise will be essential in developing synthetic, time-sensitive electronic health records and implementing robust privacy-preserving mechanisms. This role requires a deep understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to create predictive models that enhance public health outcomes.

In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks aimed at advancing our understanding and capabilities in public health data science.:
- Utilize an open-source patient data generation tool to create synthetic electronic health records that simulate patient interactions while evaluating privacy mechanisms;; Automate the tracking of patient-provider interactions using EHR data to develop a dynamic graph representing potential transmission pathways;; Implement tokenization techniques to facilitate data analysis while ensuring the protection of patient and provider privacy;; Apply Graph Modeling and Learning Linked Prediction to devise predictive models for the transmission of infectious diseases;; Employ unsupervised learning methods to train and refine predictive models effectively;; Develop advanced analytics to assign risk scores based on established risk thresholds;; Lead the creation of an alert system predicated on defined risk scores with the capability to reverse tokenization under policy and human oversight
