Job Description:
- We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team, supporting the Chief Digital Artificial Intelligence Office in enhancing the Department of Defense's integrated biosurveillance initiatives. This role is crucial in the realm of biodefense, where you will contribute to the collection, analysis, and dissemination of vital information pertaining to various hazard threats, including biological, chemical, nuclear, and naturally occurring diseases. You will play an integral role in early detection and situational awareness, enabling informed decision-making across multiple levels. As part of a collaborative team, you will leverage advanced data analytics, machine learning, and automation technologies to drive innovation and efficiency in our operations.

As a Junior Data Scientist, you will be involved in various tasks that require a blend of technical expertise and analytical skills.:
- Design, configure, develop, and support data science solutions for diverse technical applications;; Utilize analytical methodologies to identify and solve complex data challenges, assessing performance outcomes;; Document and communicate requirements, design options, and analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders;; Develop and maintain strategic data modeling processes to uncover cause-and-effect relationships;; Engage with integrated development environments and various data integration, visualization, and mining tools;; Contribute to the creation of shared libraries and tools that enhance collaborative efforts across teams
