Job Description:

Your expertise will be essential in analyzing and elevating the security posture of their Information Technology organization. In this dynamic position, you will ensure that software, hardware, and overall computer systems are fortified against cyber threats, applying the best practices outlined in NIST's Risk Management Framework and Cyber Security Framework. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, your daily tasks will involve a range of security analysis and compliance activities aimed at mitigating risks and enhancing security measures.:
- Conduct security assessments to identify gaps and propose compensating controls;; Perform security impact analyses and risk assessments to evaluate system vulnerabilities;; Apply security principles and regulations to ensure compliance with established policies;; Evaluate IT products for security compliance and develop secure configuration guidelines;; Analyze results from security evaluation tools such as Tenable Nessus and Wireshark;; Create detailed security briefings and reports to communicate findings and recommendations;; Collaborate with teams to implement IT security solutions and document security requirements;; Support cloud service provider security control responsibilities in FedRAMP approved environments

- Possession of DoD 8570 approved certifications such as CISM, CISA, or CISSP
