2025-2026 AI/ML Research Fellow
Job Description
We are excited to announce the opening of twelve positions for the AI/ML Research Fellowships for the 2025-2026 term. This fellowship aims to foster high-risk research initiatives that tackle ambitious projects with the potential for significant long-term impact, even if they may not yield immediate results. We acknowledge the prevailing trend in AI/ML publication that often emphasizes short-term and incremental advancements, overlooking substantial gaps in our comprehension of optimal model development. The purpose of these fellowships is to provide selected fellows with the undistracted time they need to explore challenging open problems, equipped with ample computational resources, a community of talented peers, and weekly one-on-one mentorship from experienced researchers, all without the pressure of meeting specific metrics. Fellows will dedicate approximately eighty percent of their time to their personal research endeavors and up to twenty percent assisting fellow researchers or engaging in broader research initiatives at our organization. While our primary focus is on applied research, especially concerning online security issues, we also support groundbreaking research that aligns with our overarching objectives. By serving a vast user base, we gain unique insights into what works effectively on a large scale.
