Quality Assurance Lead
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards across a diverse range of products within an innovative technology company specializing in immersive XR and VR solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing quality benchmarks, leading comprehensive testing initiatives across multiple product lines, and ensuring that all products consistently meet rigorous expectations for reliability, performance, and user experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, design, and delivery to integrate quality throughout the entire development lifecycle. Additionally, you will mentor junior QA team members and drive continuous improvements in our QA practices and tools.
Key Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will take charge of defining and implementing robust QA strategies while overseeing various testing activities across multiple products and releases.
- Define and continuously enhance QA strategies, standards, and best practices
- Lead and coordinate QA activities for multiple product releases
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and relevant QA documentation
- Oversee functional, regression, performance, and usability testing efforts
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and design teams from concept to release
- Proactively identify potential risks and mitigate quality issues before they affect delivery timelines
- Support and advocate for test automation initiatives where applicable
- Track defects, manage bug triage, and communicate quality status effectively to stakeholders
- Mentor and guide QA engineers and testers, fostering their professional growth
- Ensure QA processes effectively scale as products and teams expand

Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including senior or lead roles
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and modern QA methodologies
- Hands-on experience with manual testing and knowledge of test automation concepts
- Familiarity with issue tracking and test management tools like Jira or TestRail
