Verification Test Engineer

Join us in shaping the technologies of tomorrow! We are looking for a Verification Test Engineer to engage in an exciting customer project within the medical technology sector located in Munich. You will play a pivotal role in developing verification strategies focused on software-driven electromechanical components at both the subsystem and system levels. Your expertise will allow you to create and review verification test protocols by choosing appropriate tools, methodologies, and relevant testing standards. This position also involves developing testing devices and fixtures, including hardware and/or software designs, as well as creating analytical models and analyses to support verification efforts. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to carry out risk and safety assessments will be an essential part of your responsibilities. You will conduct testing activities and data analyses using statistical methods, prepare and approve final reports, and evaluate task timelines while tracking progress on testing assignments.
Key Responsibilities
As a Verification Test Engineer, you will be responsible for a comprehensive range of tasks that ensure the successful verification of medical devices.
- Development of verification strategies for medical products focusing on software-controlled electromechanical components
- Creation and validation of verification test protocols
- Development of testing devices and fixtures, including hardware and software design
- Preparation of analytical models and analyses to support the verification process
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to perform risk and safety assessments
- Execution of testing activities and data analysis using statistical methods
- Preparation and release of final reports
- Assessment of task timelines and tracking progress on testing activities
- Creation, review, and optimization of reusable test cases through the development of testing environments and scenarios

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a comparable field
- Strong background in medical technology with at least four years of relevant experience
