Junior Test Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Test Engineer with a strong background in manual testing and driving. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing principles. As part of our team working on an advanced in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) automotive project, you will be responsible for conducting thorough field testing using a prototype vehicle equipped with a new-generation IVI system. This role requires collaboration with both engineering teams and car manufacturers to ensure high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include performing daily static and dynamic test drives, documenting test cases, and reporting defects. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience of automotive software and ensuring its reliability before it reaches the market.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive testing of automotive software to ensure quality and performance.
- Attend daily briefings to align on testing objectives.
- Perform software updates on test vehicles and setups.
- Execute static and dynamic test drives as both a driver and a test engineer.
- Participate in testing iterations focused on various vehicle prototypes.
- Conduct additional weekend test drives based on customer requests.
- Follow test plans and priorities provided by the Test Manager.
- Document test results and provide detailed defect reports.
- Produce comprehensive test summaries after each testing session.
- Create and update test cases and plans as needed.
- Provide feedback and support to the engineering teams regarding development changes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- At least 1 year of experience in testing or quality assurance
- Proficiency in defect creation and management
- Experience in test case development
- Familiarity with SDLC and testing methodologies
- Knowledge of ADB
- Proficient in Linux and Windows command line operations
- Valid driver's license category B
