Project Manager
Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading high-priority AI implementation projects within the industrial sector. This position requires you to oversee projects from the initial contract signing through to successful deployment and value realization. You will be responsible for ensuring that each project aligns with customer strategic priorities and delivers tangible business impact. Your role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, including defining scope, budget, quality, and performance outcomes. You will translate project objectives into measurable business KPIs and facilitate workshops aimed at establishing baselines to demonstrate the project's impact. Developing comprehensive project plans that address scope, schedule, resources, risks, and quality will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also manage complex system integrations while maintaining continuous engagement with stakeholders. Your effective communication will ensure that all stakeholders, including Account Executives and Customer Business Executives, are kept informed about project progress, risks, and financial performance. You will act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project execution, managing governance processes and providing executive briefings. Additionally, your role will include overseeing customer satisfaction and driving change management activities to support user training and adoption. You will identify expansion opportunities and coordinate with relevant Cognite teams to address customer challenges, leveraging our PMO playbooks to enhance project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
The Project Manager is accountable for leading and delivering high-impact projects that drive customer value through AI solutions.
- Own end-to-end project delivery from kickoff to closure, ensuring project success and financial performance
- Translate use case objectives into quantifiable business KPIs
- Develop detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, resources, budget, risks, and quality
- Manage complex system integrations with agile methodology and stakeholder engagement
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders including Account Executives and Customer Business Executives
- Oversee project financials including cost tracking, margin analysis, and forecasting
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, managing communication and issue resolution
- Drive change management activities to support user training and adoption

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related fields
- Experience in the Software Industry
- 5+ years of project management experience, particularly in SaaS or cloud software delivery
