Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation in the industrial sector through innovative AI and data solutions. This role encompasses end-to-end delivery of high-priority projects, ensuring alignment with strategic customer goals and delivering measurable business impact. You will take ownership of project outcomes, managing everything from kickoff to closure while overseeing scope, budget, and quality. Your responsibilities will involve translating client objectives into quantifiable KPIs, facilitating Value Realization Workshops, and maintaining continuous communication with stakeholders. You will manage complex system integrations and lead teams through agile methodologies, ensuring that projects meet customer expectations and foster operational excellence. Your ability to nurture client relationships and provide clear, consistent updates will be vital to the success of each initiative. Ultimately, your goal is to drive customer satisfaction and enable operational improvements across various industrial sectors, propelling Cognite's mission of unlocking significant customer value.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading and managing high-stakes projects from inception to successful execution, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and delivering tangible results.
- Own project delivery from kickoff to closure, managing scope, budget, and quality.
- Translate use case objectives into business KPIs and lead Value Realization Workshops.
- Develop detailed project plans that include scope, schedule, resources, risks, and quality metrics.
- Manage complex integrations of operational and IT data sources through agile methodologies.
- Conduct regular reporting and executive briefings to ensure alignment with customer strategic goals.
- Maintain transparency with Account Executives and key stakeholders regarding project status and risks.
- Collaborate with the Product team to ensure that customer commitments are met.
- Handle project financials, including bookings, revenue recognition, and margin analysis.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.
- Drive change management activities, including user training and adoption support.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related fields
- Fluent in English and German
- 5+ years of project management experience in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software delivery
