Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager to join our innovative clinical trial team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing various projects within our laboratory in Kassel, Germany. Your main responsibilities will involve understanding and addressing the needs of our clients, including pharmaceutical companies, Contract Research Organizations (CROs), and hospitals. You will lead multiple projects throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring that they are executed efficiently and in alignment with our clients' expectations. Your role will require a commitment to social responsibility and a proactive attitude as you collaborate with diverse teams in an international environment. This position is crucial for supporting advancements in cell and gene therapy, and precision medicine, particularly in the fields of oncology and infectious diseases.
Key Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with project management teams to oversee and manage customer projects
- Demonstrate flexibility and empathy while adapting to clients' evolving needs
- Establish and execute project plans according to Standard Operating Procedures, including cost estimations and resource allocations
- Coordinate both internal resources and external partners to ensure seamless project execution
- Maintain project timelines, ensuring delivery within the agreed scope and budget
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries, including leading project meetings
- Utilize software tools to monitor project performance and manage any changes in scope, schedule, and costs
- Create and maintain thorough project documentation, ensuring compliance with data management protocols
- Manage data transfers to clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Prepare and approve invoices for managed projects
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through various communication methods

Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Molecular Biology or related field
- PhD in Natural Sciences is a plus
- At least 5 years of industry experience
