An exciting and prestigious opportunity awaits a seasoned Project Director or Senior Project Manager to take the helm in a prominent architectural and engineering consultancy based in Frankfurt, Germany. This role focuses on the management of large-scale and technically sophisticated developments, particularly in the fields of data centers and advanced industrial projects, guiding them through all phases of the HOAI framework from initial concept to final handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of complex technical projects, ensuring that each phase is executed with precision and excellence. You will lead a multidisciplinary team through the intricacies of project delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
As the Project Director, you will be tasked with overseeing the following critical responsibilities:
- Lead and ensure accountability for the complete project delivery across all phases of the HOAI
- Direct and manage diverse project teams, including architecture, structural engineering, MEP, and specialist consultants
- Establish project strategies while managing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessments
- Act as the primary senior liaison for clients, investors, authorities, and essential stakeholders
- Oversee high-value tendering, procurement processes, contract negotiations, and commercial management
- Guarantee technical excellence and compliance with all relevant German regulations
- Lead site supervision and monitor project progress through to completion
- Maintain structured communication and reporting for both executive and project-board levels
