PMO Analyst
Job Description
We are on the lookout for a meticulous and analytical PMO Analyst who will play a crucial role in supporting both internal and external project coordination for complex and high-profile initiatives. This position is essential in delivering insightful data analysis, reporting, and critical insights to project and programme managers, ensuring that projects adhere to established timelines and budget constraints. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders including project managers, programme managers, and technical experts, focusing on the continuous monitoring of project performance. Your expertise in analyzing data will drive essential recommendations for project improvements. You will be responsible for tracking project expenses, supporting financial management, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and ensuring that all projects stay aligned with their goals through data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities
As a PMO Analyst, you will engage in various analytical and reporting activities to support project delivery, providing essential insights for decision-making.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret project data related to progress, schedules, and budgets
- Track project expenses and assist with budget reconciliation while identifying variances for financial analysis
- Prepare detailed financial and project status reports, analyzing variances and forecasting impacts on the project's budget and timeline
- Identify and analyze trends in project risks and opportunities, contributing to the development of mitigation strategies
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans ensuring data accuracy and adherence to standards
- Coordinate internal project requirements with central staff and organize meetings or workshops
- Ensure proper archiving and accessibility of project-related documents and data for reporting and auditing purposes
- Build and maintain project steering dashboards, tracking key performance indicators related to cost, schedule, and resource utilization
- Communicate project status, including financial and schedule performance analysis, to internal stakeholders
- Help prepare data-driven decision-making templates for management, providing insights for control and strategy

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Initial experience in project support, project controls, or an administrative role with a financial or analytical focus
