Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the execution of data centre fibre and connectivity infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project phases, from pre-construction to handover, are executed with precision and in compliance with safety standards. You will act as the main point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Your leadership will be crucial in managing project timelines, resources, and budgets, while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the project teams.
Key Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate various aspects of fibre and structured cabling project delivery in mission-critical environments.
- Lead project delivery across multiple sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure effective project execution.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support pre-construction planning and installation methodologies while reviewing commercial aspects of projects.
- Manage subcontractor performance, addressing any challenges that arise during the project delivery.
- Provide regular updates and reports to clients and internal stakeholders using standardized reporting tools.
- Oversee project scheduling, documentation management, and risk assessment activities.
- Collaborate with commercial and procurement teams to ensure projects are delivered profitably.
- Offer guidance and leadership to on-site project teams, ensuring accountability and clarity in roles.
- Champion innovative practices and continuous improvement in project management.
