Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and execute complex customer projects involving autonomous mobile robots. In this key role, you will ensure the successful delivery of projects from the initial purchase order to the final acceptance stage, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with various internal teams including Sales, Manufacturing, R&D, and Service, ensuring alignment and adherence to BALYO standards throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will also include managing project budgets, timelines, and resources, while effectively communicating with customers and stakeholders to navigate priorities and resolve any issues that arise. As a leader, you will guide Field Engineers, ensuring the quality and performance of system installations meet contractual commitments.
Key Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer projects and ensuring their successful completion.
- Manage customer projects from initial purchase order through to installation and project closure
- Interact directly with customers and various internal teams to ensure project execution aligns with expectations
- Identify and mitigate project risks by leveraging the lessons learned database
- Create and manage detailed project schedules and master plans
- Lead and prioritize activities of Field Engineers to optimize project execution
- Prepare and secure customer specifications sign-off prior to system implementation
- Organize and manage installations, including Offsite Commissioning Tests and Site Acceptance Tests
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to ensure high satisfaction levels
- Communicate project updates and issues proactively, escalating when necessary

Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- At least five years of experience in project management
- Three years in a technical role such as software development or mechanical engineering
