Machine Learning Internship
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our CVIE team as a working student or intern, where you will assist in advancing our AI models. This role involves conducting exciting experiments and preparing data for testing new AI features and improving existing models. You will work closely with our Machine Learning Engineers and the Annotation Lead to enhance data quality and feedback loops, ensuring that all processes are reproducible and compliant. Your contributions will be crucial in training, fine-tuning, and evaluating models for document understanding, performing exploratory data analysis, and summarizing findings to inform future iterations.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in various tasks that contribute to the development and evaluation of machine learning models.
- Assist in training, fine-tuning, and evaluating models for document understanding.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and assess the quality of annotated datasets.
- Develop or enhance Python tools for data preprocessing, conversion, and evaluation.
- Execute experiments on internal GPU infrastructure with guidance.
- Summarize results and participate in decision-making for subsequent iterations.
- Collaborate closely with ML Engineers and Annotation Lead to improve data quality and feedback mechanisms.
- Maintain internal documentation to ensure reproducibility and compliance.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Completed courses in Machine Learning or Neural Networks.
